Welcome to The Beauty Box

The beauty box has been an established business for15 years, the owner Jayne O’shea started in a small room in Rhydycar leisure center 15 years ago, eventually she felt the need to move to a bigger premises and opened a small salon with one beauty room in the old Arcade in Merthyr Town Center.  That’s where she employed her first therapist to work with her, Melissa Fyler, who is still working at the salon and is now manageress.

Their next move was to another shop above Rio’s barber shop where they had 2 beauty rooms and stayed there for 4 years, but like all successful businesses they client list expanded so they moved to a bigger salon on Merthyr Tydfil high street where there is 3 beauty rooms, a st Tropez tanning booth and this year they will be expanding downstairs.

They offer a wider selection of treatments and their friendly, professional staff are always happy to help with any enquiry or need that should arise.
